Overlooking the Worker's Village, Zahi Hawass has excavated a series of tombs dating to the period of the construction of the Great Pyramid. Among the titles of officials tombs are 'Overseer of the Workmen who Drag the Stones' and Overseer of the Side of the Pyramid'.
