The angle of slope of Djedefre's Pyramid was approximately 52°.
The casing stones actually had an angle of 64°
but they were laid on the limestone pavement which had been cut to slope back
towards the Pyramid at an angle of 12° this
gave the final angle of 52°. The photograph
shows the angled pavement and the transition to a level area at the corners.
This probably made cutting the corner stones easier.
