The
lower butt-end of the GRANITE PLUG which blocks the entrance of the FIRST ASCENDING
PASSAGE of the Great Pyramid of Gizeh; showing the space in the roof of the
Descending Passage which was formely occupied by an insert limestone block which
covered the Granite Plug and hid the entrance of the First Ascending Passage,
and thus for three thousand years kept secret the existence of the upper passages
and chambers of the Pyramid.
